Assigned Certifiers for the construction of Ireland's first off-grid industrial building, at the National Bioeconomy Campus on the former Lisheen Mine. The building runs without a water grid connection, drawing supply from two wells on site with its own wastewater treatment, and takes its power from 68 solar panels and 200 kWh of battery storage backed by an HVO generator. The portal frame was designed as two separate structures, dividing the administration block from the industrial building, so the two could be treated separately for fire certification. Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificates were prepared and taken through the local authority, alongside the on-site surface water and foul drainage design.
