Building Extension
The old Irish Life building in Dun Laoghaire, an office block, turned into apartments for McGrath Group. The existing structure was propped while the front and rear concrete walls were taken off and replaced with a new steel frame, a new shear core and atrium were formed through the middle of the building, and a further floor was added on top. Architectural, civil and structural services. 25 apartments.
